Still Becoming

A figure formed entirely of abalone shell, centered in a gentle flow within a circle of warm copper and gold. Behind her, deep purple holds space — the colour of the crown chakra, of intuitive awareness, of connection to something larger than herself. Her iridescent, shifting colours mirror the ebb and flow of emotion and intuition, the beauty of transition — she is held in the circle of life, evolving, becoming, never finished arriving.

Light moves through her and over her in an ever-changing dance of colour. Celestial energies surround her and echo within her — a quiet union between what she embodies and the world that holds her, both swaying together, gently, in rhythm. A single embedded gear marks the place where everything continues to turn.

This work is deeply symbolic and intentionally open — every viewer brings their own interpretation, their own life experience, their own meaning to what they see. That is part of the gift.
