Ancestral Ammonite – Art Bookmark

The pause where the ancient speaks.

At the centre, an ammonite fossil — a perfect spiral preserved through millions of years, the mark of lives that came before our own. Around it, rhythmic lines move through encaustic colour: coral, magenta, pink, gold, and blue — the evolution of generations rendered in pigment and beeswax, nature's own spiral that has inspired wonder, art, and mathematics through the ages. Reproduced from a small slice of my original encaustic and mixed media painting Ancestral Dance, this bookmark remembers the long lineage of voices alive in every book we read — the wisdom of those who came before, the stories that have travelled through centuries to reach our hands, the inheritance we carry forward when we pause to listen.

Printed on premium cardstock (2" × 7"). The complementary-coloured back features the artwork title. Each bookmark is finished with a coordinating tassel (colour may vary based on availability) and individually packaged in a sealed cello sleeve.
