Write Your Own Story – Art Bookmark

Some pauses hand us the pen.

A long feather rises like a quill pen across the surface — held in a field of deep cobalt blue and soft yellows, gold flecks scattered like words still waiting to be written. At the base, a golden spiral anchors the piece — the inkwell, the dance with the divine, the source from which every story has ever flowed. Reproduced from a small slice of my original encaustic and mixed media painting, Write Your Own Story. As a former teacher librarian, I know the magic of putting the right book in the right hands at the right moment — this bookmark hands the reader the pen, for those who know that some pages are mirrors, and that, in the pause between chapters, the story has been theirs all along.

Printed on premium cardstock (2" × 7"). The complementary-coloured back features the artwork title. Each bookmark is finished with a coordinating tassel (colour may vary based on availability) and individually packaged in a sealed cello sleeve.
